Utah Trappers Association Scholarship
We are pleased to sponsor the annual Utah Trappers Association (UTA) scholarship. We award two $1,000 scholarships at our convention in September. This scholarship is granted to individuals who are enrolled in a college program, preferably relating to Wildlife Conservation and the Environment. There are no age requirements; the scholarship is open to all who wish to further their education.
Applications for 2024 must be postmarked by August 1, 2024. |

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the UTA Scholarship, applicants:
- Must be enrolled in a college program. Preference is given to those enrolled in a Wildlife Conservation and the Environment program.
- Cannot be a previous UTA Scholarship winner.
- Must be a UTA member or relative of a UTA member.

- Copy of the acceptance letter from the college of your enrollment
- Two letters of recommendation
- Copy of your transcripts
- Essay of 500 or more words that addresses:
- Your philosophy of conservation as it relates to the renewable resource of wildlife.
- How you hope to contribute to the wildlife conservation effort.
- Any other pertinent information (e.g., applicable awards)
